The buzzer is an optional extra for the Sommer Base+ and Sommer Pro+ electric garage door operators.
 
The alarm buzzer has two functions:
 
	
In an attempted break-in the alarm buzzer will output a loud signal tone to deter a potential intruder.
	
The warning buzzer will output an acoustic signal when the door is closing or the slip door is left open.
